Hello Waterville Property Owners! We continue to blaze forward with our sales analysis that started January 2, 2025. This process helps ensure property values are fair, accurate, and reflect current market trends. Don’t worry- there will not be physical interior inspections for most properties, as this analysis relies on existing sales data and market analysis.
In June 2025, you will receive notice about your new property assessment, along with information on how to review or appeal if needed. Please keep in mind that this is a revenue-neutral process- it doesn’t raise more taxes but redistributes the tax base fairly. The main reason your taxes would increase is if the budget adopted by the City Council has increased.
