Centerstone, in collaboration with the City of Carbondale, is hosting a series of pop-up resource events throughout March to bring essential services and community support directly to residents. These events will provide an opportunity for individuals and families to connect with local organizations, ask questions, and discover resources that can make a difference in their lives. 

“We all know someone who has struggled with their mental health, and making the decision to get help isn’t easy. Centerstone offers mental health, addiction care, and social support that inspires hope, fosters strength, and helps people get better faster” said Aaron Seibert, Marketing and Community Outreach Manager at Centerstone. “These are the reasons why we have partnered with the City of Carbondale to offer resource pop-ups, to make sure we are informing our communities about the help that is available to them from Centerstone and community partners like Take Action Today, Birth to 5 Illinois, DCFS and others.” 

Carbondale’s Mayor Carolin Harvey emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “The City of Carbondale is proud to partner with Centerstone to bring these resource pop-ups to our community. Access to mental health and social support services is vital, and we want to make sure our residents know where to turn for help. By working together, we can break down barriers, connect people with the resources they need, and strengthen the well-being of our entire community.” 

The pop-up resource tables will be available at the following locations and times: 

• University Baptist Church (700 S Oakland Ave) 
  March 7 & 28 | 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 

• Carbondale Police Department (501 S Washington St) 
  March 11 | 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

• Carbondale City Hall (200 S Illinois Ave) 
  March 13 | 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

• Carbondale Public Library (405 W Main St) 
  March 20 | 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. 

Community members are encouraged to stop by, engage with local service providers, and explore the various resources available to support their well-being.
