Stan Reno Accepts Conditional Offer for City Manager Position

CARBONDALE - The City of Carbondale is pleased to announce that Interim City Manager and Chief of Police Stan Reno accepted a conditional offer for the position of City Manager, pending final approval of an employment agreement by the Carbondale City Council. Chief Reno’s extensive leadership experience and dedication to the community make him an excellent choice for this key role.
In preparation for this transition, Interim City Manager and Chief of Police Reno will appoint an Acting Chief of Police to ensure continuity within the Carbondale Police Department. A nationwide search for a new Police Chief will also commence.
