CARBONDALE -

The City of Carbondale is offering 500 boxes full of fresh produce and meat from Cusumano & Sons, Inc. on Friday, December 20th, starting at 9:00AM (until supplies last).

Interim City Manager and Police Chief Stan Reno said, “The City of Carbondale is honored to provide 500 food boxes filled with fresh produce and meat to our community this holiday season. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our residents and ensuring that every household has access to nutritious food during this holiday season. We hope the food boxes bring joy and relief to families.   The City wants this opportunity to reflect the strong spirit of care and support that defines Carbondale. I encourage all eligible residents to take advantage of this opportunity. I want to extend thanks to Cusumano & Sons, Inc. and our city staff for making this event possible.”

Citizens wishing to receive a food box can drive through the West parking lot of City Hall during the event to pick up a food box for their household. It’s a cultural town, yet free of pretense, embracing the great outdoors as readily as urban sophistication. Here, we are open to new ideas, experiences and cultures, so you are encouraged to both express yourself and be yourself, in all ways. That’s Carbondale…All Ways Open…for family, fun, business, new ideas and a bright tomorrow.”
