Carbondale Police Press Release: Request for Public Assistance

CARBONDALE – The Carbondale Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an individual who committed a theft at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale on January 24, 2024. On that day at about 10:45 p.m., an unidentified white male forced entry into a restricted office area of the hospital. Once inside, the suspect entered several offices and eventually left with property belonging to the hospital. Once outside the hospital, security officers confronted the male, who ran northbound on N. Poplar Street and out of sight. A photo of the suspect is below. If you have information on the identity and/or location of the individual, please contact the Carbondale Police Department at the numbers listed below and reference this release.
