FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CITY OF CASA GRANDE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.

The City of Casa Grande is excited to announce that applications are now open for its highly anticipated Summer Internship Program. This program provides students with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in public service while exploring potential careers in local government. 

Spanning eight weeks, the program offers flexible working hours and competitive compensation, with high school students earning $15.50 per hour and college students earning $17.00 per hour. Interns will have the opportunity to choose their preferred participating City Department, allowing them to tailor their experience to align with their interests and career goals. 

"We are excited to offer this enriching opportunity to students in our community," said City Manager Larry Rains. "The Internship Program not only provides valuable hands-on experience but also fosters professional development and networking opportunities that can be invaluable as students embark on their career paths." 

This program is ideal for students eager to develop new skills, make meaningful contributions to their community, and connect with professionals across various fields. Whether they are interested in urban planning, Police Department operations, City Attorney Office processes or other aspects of local government, this internship provides a valuable steppingstone toward future career success.
