IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CASA GRANDE ANIMAL CARE & ADOPTION CENTER OFFERS FREE DOG ADOPTION EVENT.

Casa Grande, AZ – The Casa Grande Animal Care and Adoption Center is excited to announce a FREE dog adoption event from Monday, January 13th through Saturday, January 25th. During this time, adoption fees will be waived for all dogs, big and small. This special initiative is in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society, a national organization dedicated to ending the euthanasia of dogs and cats in shelters. 

The shelter is currently at capacity, particularly with large dogs, making this event critical to reducing overcrowding and saving lives. Residents are encouraged to adopt a furry friend in need. “We have a variety of wonderful dogs, from different breeds and personalities, ready to find their forever homes,” said Cerise Shanafelt, Animal Control Supervisor. 

The adoption center is located at 202 E. First Avenue in Casa Grande and is open: 

• Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
• Saturday: By appointment only

Adopting a dog not only provides a loving home to a pet in need but also helps create space for another animal to receive care and a second chance.
