FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Casa Grande LINK Transit Service Scheduled to Launch Monday, October 23rd.

The City of Casa Grande will launch their first on-demand transit service on Monday October 23rd. The service will be offered for any trip purpose including shopping, medical appointments, travel to work, and recreation.

CG LINK will operate Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and reservations are required 24-hours in advance. There are several ways to book a trip. Riders can book online at www.CasaGrandeLINK.com, use the CG LINK Rider App. or call dispatch at (520) 509-6900. Vehicles are wheelchair accessible, have bicycle racks, and service is free of charge for the first six months.

“CG LINK will also provide first mile/last mile connection to the CART service at four designated bus stops and will operate within a core service area”, said Deb Brunner, City of Casa Grande, Transit Manager. “Major destinations include the city libraries, downtown Casa Grande, the Dorothy Powell Senior Center, the City Recreation Center, Banner Medical Center, the Promenade Mall."

In September, the Casa Grande City Council unanimously awarded RTW Management, Inc., of Salt Lake City, a five-year contract to operate the Casa Grande LINK (CG LINK) transit service. RTW will hire drivers, provide service vehicles, and manage the daily operations of the CG LINK service.
