Roadway Improvements - April 28, 2025

On or about Monday, April 28, 2025 (weather permitting), construction will be performed to complete the work originally intended on April 17, but unfortunately had to be halted.  The work includes the remaining asphalt driveway aprons, along with any repairs or replacement of concrete sidewalk, which was damaged over the winter.  Work is anticipated to last only one day.

Please be reminded that for the first year of new concrete, calcium chloride products are preferred for snow and ice melting. Rock salt is not recommended, as it can damage the newly installed concrete surface.

Please be aware of the posted ‘No Parking’ signs. Lincoln Street will be closed to through traffic during construction.  If possible, we request you limit your activity entering and exiting Lincoln Street between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

If a portion of your concrete driveway apron is being replaced you will be notified by the contractor to move your vehicle.  Once the new concrete is poured it will take three (3) days before the concrete is cured enough to drive on.  Replaced asphalt driveways aprons will be safe to drive on by the evening.

A follow-up notice will be provided prior to the milling and paving process.  While this work is still anticipated for the spring, a date has not yet been established.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience due to construction activities and appreciate your cooperation.
