Winter Weather Update - January 17, 2025

Snow is forecast to fall on Sunday and Sunday evening between 3-6 inches. Now is the time to ensure you have shovels ready, salt in stock, and make sure snow blowers are working!

After the storm comes through, temperatures will drop for several days in a row with highs only reaching the upper teens and low twenties and lows at night falling to low single digits.


Saturday: A 50 percent chance of rain after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 42. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. South wind 5 to 7 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph after midnight.

Sunday: Snow likely, mainly after 1pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 33. North wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible

Sunday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow before 1am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 16.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 24 during the day, then mostly clear, with a low around 5 at night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 16 during the day, then partly cloudy, with a low around 3 at night.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 17 during the day, then partly cloudy, with a low around 5 at night.
