Hey there Town of Avon Indiana residents! During the past couple of notifications, we have been mentioning that the Dan Jones Phase 1 Paving Project is subject to change due to weather. Due to inclement weather expected to come through town, our contractor has pushed back the paving a day later. Expect lane closures in effect on Thursday, April 25, 2024 and Friday, April 26, 2024 both northbound lanes will be closed during 8AM through 12PM. Southbound lanes will be open. Later on in the day, the southbound lanes will be closed from 12PM through 4PM while northbound lanes will be reopened. Expect minor slowdowns on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 and Monday, April 24th, 2024. We recommend finding an alternative route during this time. This is the final touches in completing the first phase of the Dan Jones Widening Project. We thank you for your patience.
