Get ready for our Spring Heavy Trash Day! This is your chance to clear out large items that can't go in your regular trash. Please note, this service is only for residents of the Town of Avon, and a valid form of ID will be required at drop-off.

When: Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Where: Gable Park, 229 S Gable Drive, Avon, IN 46123 (just behind Ashley Home Furniture, Marks Mattress, and Dollar Tree)

What You Can Bring:

• Upholstered and Outdoor Furniture
• Mattresses and Box Springs
• Carpeting, Rugs, and TV Stands
• Bookcases, Toys, and Exercise Equipment
• Scrap Metal (except cars), Papers, and File Folders

Items Not Accepted:

• Electronics (TVs, computers, VCRs)
• Household hazardous materials (paint, chemicals)
• Construction debris, Freon appliances, Tires
• Yard Waste, Used Motor Oil, Cardboard, Plastics

Special Instructions:

• Please drain refrigerators, mowers, and water heaters before drop-off.
• Shredding trucks will be available for residents to safely dispose of documents.
