The Town of Avon’s Fall Heavy Trash Day will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Gable Park (229 S Gable Drive).

This event is for Town of Avon residents ONLY and offers a convenient way to safely dispose of large or bulky household items.

✅ Examples of accepted items: furniture, mattresses, rugs, toys, exercise equipment, scrap metal (no cars), and papers.
🚫 Examples of items not accepted: hazardous materials, electronics, tires, appliances with Freon, construction debris, and yard waste.

🧾 Shredding trucks will also be available for Avon residents.
