🚧 Public Notification: Dan Jones Bridge Work & Nightly Road Closures

As discussed last week, the removal of the west bridge rail over CSX will require a closure of Dan Jones Road. Please note that this bridge is NOT under the Town of Avon’s jurisdiction. Oversight and repairs are managed by Hendricks County and CSX.

🔒 Closure Schedule:

• When: Nightly from 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM, beginning the night of September 8, 2025 through the night of September 12, 2025

• Where: Dan Jones Road, over the CSX bridge

• If work is completed ahead of schedule, the road will reopen early and remain open.

🛣️ Detour Routes:
Northbound Dan Jones Traffic:

• Eastbound CR 100 S → Northbound Ronald Reagan Parkway → Westbound US 36 → Dan Jones

Southbound Dan Jones Traffic:

• Eastbound US 36 → Southbound Ronald Reagan Parkway → Westbound CR 100 S → Dan Jones
