Beginning Monday, May 5: Two projects will affect traffic downtown

Heads up on two projects going on downtown next week that may affect your commute:

𝟮𝟬𝟬-𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁
Parking spots on the east side of the street will be closed beginning Monday evening, May 5. New fiber lines will be bored & installed in those parking spots. Crews will work in the overnight hours beginning around 7pm. Work should be complete by Friday morning, May 9.

𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁
Westbound lane of traffic will be closed, including the sidewalk & parking beginning Monday morning, May 5. This project is expected to last three days, weather permitting. Work hours will be during daytime hours only. Contract crews with the church will be repainting the steeple & roof & will stage a large bucket lift on Pollock St. in order to access those areas. Traffic control will be in place to assist motorists.
