Officers Locate Loaded Stolen Firearm During Suspicious Vehicle Stop:

On Sunday, March 16^th at approximately 12:23 a.m., an officer saw a lone vehicle parked in the second level of a parking garage in the 700 block of Santa Rosa Plaza.  The officer contacted four occupants of the vehicle and developed probable cause to search it.  During a search, the officer located two loaded firearms in a satchel in the backseat.  One firearm was a Glock 19 9mm and the other was a Glock 21 45 caliber.  The Glock 21 was found to be reported stolen out of Ukiah.  One subject claimed possession of the satchel. 

The officer arrested 18-year-old Santa Rosa resident Emmanuel Dominguez and booked him into jail for the following charges:


25850(c)(6) PC: Possession of firearm in public not the registered owner.
25400(c)(4) PC: Carry a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
29800(a)(1) PC: Felon in possession of a firearm
487(d)(2) PC: Theft of a firearm
496(a) PC: Possession of stolen property
