Santa Rosa Resident Arrested for Possession of Illegal Firearms

On 03/05/2024, SRPD Narcotics detectives conducted follow-up to a previous investigation that resulted in the seizure of various narcotics/controlled substances and several firearms (CR#24-1949 on 2/16/24). Detectives learned 37-year-old Santa Rosa resident, Cameron Glover, had two storage units rented to him in the 4400 block of Sonoma Hwy in Santa Rosa. The Sonoma County Superior Court ordered Glover to submit to warrantless search and seizure upon his release from jail after the initial arrest on 2/16/24.

Detectives responded to the storage units and conducted a search of the units pursuant to Glover’s search terms ordered by the court. Detectives located several firearms and body armor inside one of his units. The firearms consisted of a short-barreled AR-15 style rifle, five semi-automatic handguns, an additional AR-15 style rifle, two other hunting style rifles, 12-gauge shotgun, firearm parts, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Glover is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.

As detectives left the storage facility on Sonoma Hwy, Glover was observed entering the facility in his vehicle. Glover was later detained by detectives and a patrol officer without incident.

Glover was transported and booked into the Sonoma County Jail for the following violations:

29800(a)(1) PC – Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm.
30605 PC – Possession of an Assault Weapon.
30305(a)(1) – Prohibited Person in Possession of Ammunition.
33215 PC – Possession of a Short-barreled Rifle
