Numerous DUI Arrests this Weekend, Including two DUI Crashes with Felony Arrests

DUI Crash & Arrest on Hoen Av at Summerfield Road
On 5/28/2023 at 3:34 pm, several SRPD officers were dispatched to the area of Hoen Av and Summerfield Rd for a vehicle collision where one vehicle rolled over. When officers arrived on the scene, they contacted the driver Antony Manos, a 35-year-old Santa Rosa resident. He was driving a white Ford Explorer westbound on Hoen Av. The vehicle stucked a parked vehicle and then drove off the north side of the roadway, and it was overturned on the grass. The adult male passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries associated with the collision.

Manos was later transported to a local hospital as a precaution from the collision. The officer conducted a DUI investigation and based on the observed objective symptoms of being under the influence and the overall DUI investigation, Manos was arrested for felony DUI that caused injury to another person.  Manos was later transported and booked into the Sonoma County Jail with a $100,000 bail.

DUI Crash & Arrest on 1600 Block of Dutton Av
On 5/28/2023 at 9:16 pm, several SRPD officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Dutton Av for a vehicle collision where one vehicle rolled over. When officers arrived at the collision, they contacted the driver, Eric Perez-Martinez a 25-year-old transient male living in Santa Rosa. Perez-Martinez was driving a black Honda Civic. Perez-Martinez showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Perez-Martinez was transported to a local hospital as a precaution from the collision.

Perez-Martinez was driving his Honda northbound on Dutton Avenue before he struck a parked Honda CRV, on the east side of the roadway. One of the occupants in the parked vehicle was transported to a local hospital for a moderate head injury associated with the collision.

Based on the officer’s investigation, witness statements, and evidence on scene, Perez-Martinez was arrested for a felony DUI that caused injury to another person. Perez-Martinez was later booked into the Sonoma County jail with a $100,000 bail.
