Update 2/27/2023 at 8:30pm

Lawrence (aka "Larry") Atchison has been missing since he walked away from his residence on Leafwood Circle at 4:45pm.  Larry has dementia and is unable to safely navigate himself around Santa Rosa. SRPD requested the assistance of the Sonoma County Search and Rescue Team. While Search and Rescue is mobilizing, SRPD officers, Community Service Officers, and Field and Evidence Technicians are assisting with the search. SRPD is also deploying drones to help locate Larry. When he is located, the comunity will be advised.

Missing Adult at Risk

On February 27th at 4:45 p.m., Larry Lawrence left his residence on foot and his current wherabouts are unknown.  Lawrence has dementia and does not know how to navigate his way around the city and will not know how to return home.  Lawrence was last seen in the area of Leafwood Circle in Santa Rosa.  Lawrence is 65 years old, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a black Columbia jacket with no hood, dark blue jeans and black slip on shoes.
