Dry Bridge Closure Update & Business Support Reminder
The Route 12A Dry Bridge closure continues to present challenges for commuters and local businesses. The closure is impacting daily operations and customer traffic. Businesses along West Lebanon Main Street remain open and encourage continued community support.
The temporary shoring work is ready to proceed, but railroad coordination and approvals are required before repairs can begin. Based on past experience, following the standard railroad approval process could result in significant delays, up to months. However, efforts are underway in collaboration with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) to expedite approvals and allow repair crews to access the area under the bridge where the tracks are located. While some steps are beyond the City’s direct control, every effort is being made to minimize delays and begin work as soon as possible.
Patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated during this time. Updates will continue to be provided as more information becomes available. West Lebanon Main Street area businesses remain open and encourage the community to dine, shop, and utilize their services during this time.
