The water levels in the system and water pressures have normalized. Users may still experience air in their lines and should “slow the flow” to let the air out. If users experience any water discoloration, they should run cold water until it clears.
The Northeast Creek Water System customers include customers along Davis Highway, Jefferson Highway, and the Towns of Louisa and Mineral. The Louisa County Water Authority, Louisa County, the Town of Louisa, and the Town of Mineral will release updates as they are available. Note the Town of Louisa and the Town of Mineral rely on the Louisa County Water Authority’s Northeast Creek Water Treatment Plant, but they operate separate systems. As they operate separate systems, the towns may issue their own communications. Please follow the Louisa County Water Authority as well as the town in which you reside for the most complete information.
