Use Caution
The Pueblo of Acoma Public Safety Department is advising ALL community members to exercise caution due to recent mountain lion activity in the area.
Please take the following precautions:
* Keep pets and small children indoors or under close supervision, especially during early morning hours and evening hours.
* Avoid walking alone in remote areas.
* Do not leave pet food or garbage outside, as it may attract wildlife.
If you see a mountain lion or notice suspicious animal activity, contact Public Safety immediately at 505-552-6601.
