Get your tickets for “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical”

(Kirksville, MO) - Kirksville Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the summer production of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical,” a relatable adventure through the middle school years!

This family-oriented production will bring to life all the humor and shenanigans of middle school from the perspective of Greg as he enters his own middle school experience.

“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical” follows the plot of the first installment of Jeff Kinney’s popular middle-grade graphic novel. Throughout the course of the school year, Greg tries many schemes to increase his popularity, but along the way may make decisions he regrets. Just how far is he willing to go? 

Performances are on July 11 and 12 at 7:00 pm and July 13 at 2:00 pm at William Matthew Middle School’s Auditorium. Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased online at Kirksville.gov/p/rec-login, or in person at the Kirksville Aquatic Center. Remaining seats will be sold at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
