Community invited to open houses for input on North Park, Rock Lake development plans

(Kirksville, MO) - Kirksville residents are invited to two upcoming community open houses to provide input on the future development of North Park and Rock Lake Conservation Area.

Both meetings will be on Monday, June 23, 2025. The Rock Lake Conservation Area meeting will be at the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Northeast Regional Office at 3500 S. Baltimore St. from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The North Park meeting will be at the park’s shelter from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

These open houses are an important opportunity for community members to review preliminary site plans for these parks and share ideas for future park improvements.  Public feedback is a valuable part of the planning process and will help guide the development of these sites to best serve the community. Feedback will also be accepted online following the meetings at Kirksville.gov/p/site-plans.
