Please be aware that the June 28 Primary Election is being managed by Salt Lake County Elections Division. Ballots cannot be accepted inside of Sandy City Hall before June 28, as City Hall is not an early voting location for this election. A ballot drop box is available in the west parking lot of City Hall from now until 8 PM on June 28.
On June 28, Sandy City Hall will be an Election Day vote center, available for in-person voting to accommodate the following:
- Individuals who did not receive a ballot for various reasons, including those who moved and did not update their address (*Note - Not every voter will receive a primary ballot. Only voters affiliated with a political party having a primary - Republican (countywide) & Democratic (3 state senate districts), or a non-partisan local school board (4 local school board districts) will receive a ballot for the Primary Election.)
- Individuals using same-day voter registration; identification AND proof of residency are required to register and vote on the same day
- Individuals who need the amenities of the electronic voting machines, which offer an audio ballot and enlarged text
- Individuals who prefer to vote in person
