Convenient Online Reporting
for Non-emergencies

Sandy residents can now report non-emergency incidents to the Police Department using a new online system. This tool is ideal for situations like theft, vandalism, or financial crimes that don’t require an officer’s in-person response. Christmas Tree Recycling

Christmas tree recycling is available now through Jan. 15 at the following locations:

Storm Mountain Park
Bell Canyon Park
Flat Iron Mesa Park
Highpoint Park
Crescent Park
Wildflower Park

Please remove all lights, ornaments, tinsel, garland, and tree stands before dropping off your tree. Bulk waste, yard waste, and commercial dumping are not allowed. Questions? Call Public Works at (801) 568-2999 or click the link below.

Community Photo Contest

Calling all photographers! Please submit your best Sandy City photos for our annual Community Photo Contest. Submissions are open now through Jan. 17. Twelve winners will receive two tickets to a Hale Center Theater show, and their photos will be featured on Facebook for public voting. The top three public vote winners will also receive a $50 gift card! We can’t wait to see all your beautiful photos.
