Public Works will be closing Shoddy Mill Road at the area of Rail Trail Wednesday, June 15th and Thursday, June 16th between the hours of 6:30am and 2:30pm for the purpose of road drainage.

Signage will be placed at the intersections of Route 6 and Shoddy and at Wales and Shoddy notifying of such. Local traffic will still be able to exit/enter these areas from their respective sides but no through traffic allowed in the actual work zone.

Please be on the lookout of future announcements next week of any other needed road closures in this area as we continue our road drainage improvements on Shoddy Mill.

Also please note, that pedestrians using the rail trail will still be able to cross as needed but with caution.
