EOC Partners,
This is the latest severe weather briefing packet from the National Weather Service-Wichita concerning Monday afternoon's forecast. Late afternoon storms will be capable of producing long-track tornadoes, softball sized hail, and 70-80 mph winds. There is some uncertainty on exactly where the higher-end severe weather will occur, but most of the state is under some sort of severe weather threat. Emergency Management will be activating the Emergency Operations Center to level-3, monitoring, at 2PM. EOC partners are welcome to monitor conditions in the EOC, but not required. Should the county sustain significant impacts, EOC activation levels will be adjusted in accordance with the Local Emergency Operations Plan. Please remain alert and prepared for rapidly changing conditions.
