Special Meeting Today - Draper City Council

The Draper City Council is holding a special council meeting today, Monday, April 29 at 4:00 PM. We acknowledge that this is short notice but first received information about this matter over the weekend.
The council will consider a resolution to approve an interlocal agreement with other entities currently within the boundaries of the Alpine School District for the potential creation of a new school district. This agreement would only impact Draper students who live in the SunCrest and adjacent neighborhoods who currently attend Alpine District Schools.
This meeting does not include a public hearing or comment period. If this process were to move forward it would ultimately become a ballot measure for voters to decide upon.
We will provide updates as warranted by any new information.
