The Corner Canyon Trails Foundation will hold their annual Switchback Shindig Dinner fundraiser in support of Draper Trails on Wednesday, October 18 at 6:00 PM at Siempre.
Tickets on sale now - $55. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door - $60. Visit the CCTF website to purchase tickets and for more information about the foundation.
Draper Library is calling for entries for the Second Annual Tiny Art Show. The program is for Adults, Teens, and Elementary ages. Artwork should be created on a 4-inch x 4-inch canvas board. Art can be on any topic with any medium, suitable for display in a public setting.
Art needs to be turned in by November 4 and will be displayed through the month of November at the Draper Library, with prizes awarded at the beginning of December.
Draper City's annual Veterans Day Ceremony will be on Saturday, November 11 from 11-11:30 AM at Draper City Park. This event honors and thanks all who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. Admission is free. The program includes posting of the Nation’s colors, musical performances, and a keynote address.
Additionally, Draper City will host a Field of Flags in Draper Park. The Field of Flags features hundreds of flags and will be in place for three days, from 9:00 AM on November 10, through 12:00 PM on November 12.
The community is invited to walk through the Field of Flags during normal park hours.
Save the Date! Kick off the holiday season with Draper City’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Monday, November 27 at Draper City Park. Arrive early to see Santa and special guests turn on the holiday lights just after 6 PM. The holiday lights displayed are truly spectacular, with more than three million lights placed on trees throughout the park. Bundle up and share in the holiday cheer. Admission is free!
