EB Chinese Restaurant Fundraiser!:
We are having a fundraiser for Youth Council at EB Chinese on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1-9pm! There are two ways to help us raise funds this year:

• Order In-Person by showing the flyer, using this link: http://tinyurl.com/mbcyujxk
• Order in person or over the phone by saying 'EBYC Fundraiser' before you complete your order. 
• To earn community service hours, take a picture of your receipt (only East Brunswick Chinese, the date, and your order need to show), and send your picture to ebyouthcouncil@eastbrunswick.org so that we can credit you! Please make sure to put your name in the email so we know who to credit. If we don't receive your picture, you will not be credited!

Be sure to go to East Brunswick Chinese anytime between 1-9pm on February 4, 2024.

2024-2025 Executive Board Applications:
East Brunswick Youth Council Executive Board Applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be live February 1 to March 1! All applications for the 2024-2025 Executive Board are due by March 1, 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.
Current Executive Board Members are not guaranteed a future position (placement on the board is based on the previous year’s performance). To run, you must fill out an application. The positions will be based on service hours (how active you have been in the past), as well as how reliable and strong of a volunteer you are.

Social:

• Passport Challenge: Earn stamps at the social events you attend to receive a prize! Check out our Passport Events for this month:
  • Feb. 3: Lunar New Year Decorating (earn hours!)
  • Feb. 11: Making Valentines Day Cards
• FriYAY Nights at the Youth Center: Hangout at the newly renovated Youth Center! Every Friday night from 6-9pm at the Youth Center, you have the opportunity to play video games, watch movies, play arcade games, create art, and more! Sign up on Volunteer Matrix.
• R.A.C. Adventures: Thanks to a new grant from the Department of Children and Families - Office of Resilience, Norwescap, and the Regional Aces Collaborative (RAC), we are happy to offer fun, social day trips for our Youth Council Members. All trips will be between $10-$15 and will include transportation*, admission/tickets, and lunch**.

• New Events will be released in bulk on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 5pm! The next big event drop is Sunday, February 4th! We do recommend that you still regularly check Volunteer Matrix, because you never know when a surprise event may appear...
