Description

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of western New York, including the following
counties, Erie and Niagara. Flooding may impact Interstate 190 and
other low water crossings.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 601 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Buffalo, Cheektowaga, North Tonawanda, Lockport, Kenmore,
Amherst, Tonawanda, Grand Island, Pendleton, Pendleton
Center, East Amherst and Rapids.

Instructions

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
