* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 540 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Gallaudet University to Oxon Hill to Fort
Washington, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
Coral Hills, Suitland-Silver Hill, Walker Mill, The Mall, Groveton,
Parole, Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, Morningside, Arlington,
Tantallon, Ballston, Gibson Island, Sillery Bay, Forest Heights,
Cherrydale, Greater Landover, North Brentwood, Chelsea Beach, Lake
Arbor, and Prince Georges Stadium.
