Don't Forget! The City of Norcross Is Accepting Applications for Several Boards!

For one more week, the city is accepting applications for the Discovery Garden Park Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and Sustainable Norcross Commission. Applications are due Friday, September 1 at 6:00 p.m. Please contact Deputy City Clerk Shayla Alexis (shayla.alexis@norcrossga.net) to submit your application to serve.

DGP
The mission of the Discovery Garden Park Board is to inspire lifelong curiosity, understanding and appreciation of nature through organic gardening, education and demonstration and to provide a place of beauty for Norcross residents and visitors. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall 2nd floor Conference Room.

ZBA
The Zoning Board of Appeals exists to hear and decide appeals of any decision or determination made by the Community Development Director or Building Official in the enforcement, administration and interpretation of the Unified Development Ordinance and to hear appeal in specific cases where, owning to special conditions, a literal interpretation of the Unified Development Ordinance in an individual case will result in an unnecessary hardship. Meetings are held as necessary on the fourth Thursday of each at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall 2nd Floor Community Room.

SNC
The Sustainable Norcross Commission is established to educate and inspire Norcross residents and businesses to be leaders in sustainability. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall 2nd Floor Community Room.
