ADVISORY - UPDATE: OCCC Work Furlough Inmate turns himself in



O'ahu Community Correctional Center (OCCC) work furlough inmate Michael Gardner Davis voluntarily turned himself in at the correctional facility at approximately 5:30 p.m. today after he was reported missing during a headcount this morning. He now faces an additional escape charge.

Davis, 80, was present during the first headcount at Module 20 at about 6 a.m. today. He was discovered missing during a second headcount at about 9 a.m.
Davis is serving time for felony sex assault and other offenses. His next parole hearing is scheduled for March 2024.
