High Wind Warning issued March 31 at 1:11PM MDT until April 1 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

Description

* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected.

* WHERE...Eastern Lincoln County, Guadalupe County, Far Northeast
Highlands, Johnson and Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass,
Northeast Highlands, and Southwest Chaves County.

* WHEN...From 6 AM to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult to dangerous,
especially for high profile vehicles on north-to-south oriented
roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Due to severe and extreme drought across much
of New Mexico, widespread areas of blowing dust will develop with
the gusty winds. This will increase the risk of low visibility of
one half mile or less, creating dangerous travel conditions.
