Sign up to receive emergency alerts and other public information

The City and Borough of Juneau can send you emergency alerts via text message or email, based on your preference.

You can also sign up to receive to receive email notifications from CBJ about information such as public meetings and facility closures. You can update your preferred contact methods and notification topics at any time.

When you sign up, please provide your address or location. This will allow you to receive alerts specific to your geographic area.

The system is intended to convey information for a variety of purposes. Emergency alerts could be related to specific hazards that require some kind of action be taken such as evacuation, shelter in place, or boil water orders. Non-emergency alerts are variable based on the options you select. This system will only ever be used to communicate information directly from CBJ.

These notifications are provided free of charge; however, standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.
