Want to know what’s happening in your neighborhood? Have questions about what’s going on in your part of the city?
Based on your preferences, the City of Idaho Falls can send you notifications via text message, email, pager or voicemail (in some cases).
Many households no longer utilize traditional land-based telephone lines, so by choosing to sign up for city alerts you ensure you can get the latest important updates on information you want to know, on the device you choose. And, of course, if you still have a regular telephone line, you can still choose to receive notifications to that phone line as well.
When you sign up for these alerts, please provide your address and preferred method(s) of contact. Adding your address will allow information that is specific to your geographical area to be sent to you.
The system is intended to be used to convey information for a variety of purposes. Some information may have direct impacts on residents, such as snow removal parking restrictions, construction work, road closures and detours or specific hazards or emergencies that require some kind of action. We will also use it to communicate Parks and Recreational program information for those who opt to receive this type of information.
While this list of possible uses is not meant to be all inclusive, this system will only ever be used by the City of Idaho Falls to communicate information from the city and its various departments. These alerts are provided free of charge, however standard text messaging rates and other charges may apply.
