BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — On [April 1st of 2026], a portion of the City of Battle Creek water system was advised to boil tap water used for drinking and cooking.

A Boil Water Advisory went into effect for the following residential addresses: • Cliff Street (390–409) • Douglas Street (15–25) • 283 Main Street it is now Canceled
The City of Battle Creek has determined it is no longer necessary to use bottled water or to boil tap water before drinking or cooking. Follow-up sampling confirms that no coliform bacteria are present in the water supply.
