Town of Palm Beach Alerts and News Releases

Traffic Impacts: Week of June 30, 2025

Planned maintenance and improvement projects may impact traffic in the town. Notable projects the week of June 30, 2025 include:
  • The northbound lane and sidewalk on SR A1A/South County Road at the intersection of South Ocean Boulevard (just north of Clarendon Avenue), to just south of Banyan Road, will be closed around-the-clock for sidewalk replacement and construction activities through approximately July 2025. Side streets within the work zone will remain open, with eastbound and westbound movements permitted on Via Vizcaya, Via Del Mar, and Via La Selva for local traffic. A flagging operation may be utilized on side streets as needed. For questions, please contact Michael Miller at Michael.miller2@dot.state.fl.us or (954) 815-2151.
  • Traffic impacts may occur June 30  through July 3, 2025, on Royal Poinciana Way and South County Road, going south to Hammon Avenue, due to scheduled maintenance on the Town’s telemetry for traffic's intermittent lane closures. A MOT and flagging operation will be in place. For questions, please contact Mark Loree, Electrical Supervisor, at (561) 227-7052 or mloree@townofpalmbeach.com.
  • Beginning Tuesday, July 1, 2025, through the end of October 2025, there will be roadway construction involving lane closures and intermittent detoured traffic on all roads along and between North County Road, North Ocean Boulevard, and North Lake Way (between Miraflores Drive and Bahama Lane). The traffic will be managed through intermittent lane closures, always allowing for single-lane traffic with a flagging operation. For questions about this project, please contact Lee Hudson, Project Engineer Coordinator, at (561) 227-7022 or lhudson@townofpalmbeach.com
