Town Council to appoint members to the Architectural Commission and the Code Enforcement Board
The Town of Palm Beach seeks to appoint members to the Architectural Commission (ARCOM) and the Code Enforcement Board. All citizens interested in pursuing an appointment must complete the appropriate application for service and submit it to the Town Clerk’s Office by Friday, February 21, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. The appointments will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
The Town seeks to appoint two (2) regular and three (3) alternate members to the Architectural Commission (ARCOM). The terms will begin on March 4, 2025 and expire on February 29, 2028; four (4) members are eligible for reappointment.
ARCOM reviews and approves modifications to existing structures visible from public rights-of-way, new construction, and landscaping. Members are appointed based on experience in art, architecture, community planning, land development, real estate, landscape architecture, or other relevant business, profession, or civic interest. Members of the ARCOM shall be appointed for a three-year term and may serve no more than two consecutive terms.

CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
The Town seeks to appoint three (3) members to the Code Enforcement Board (CEB). One term will begin on March 4, 2025 and expire on March 4, 2028; two (2) terms will begin on April 1, 2025 and expire on April 1, 2028; three (3) members are eligible for reappointment.
The Code Enforcement Board (CEB) hears cases involving violations of the Town Code and ordinances and imposes administrative fines and other noncriminal penalties where a pending or repeated violation exists. Members must be registered voters of the Town and are appointed by the Town Council based on experience or interest in the fields of zoning and building control.
