Town Council to Appoint An Alternate Member to the Landmarks Preservation Commission
The Town of Palm Beach seeks to appoint one (1) alternate member to the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC). This term will expire on March 1, 2026, and will be considered a Term 1.
This commission reviews and approves structural and landscape modifications to designated structures and properties. Members are appointed by the Town Council based on having, to the greatest extent practicable, a special knowledge of and a known interest in landmarks preservation. Members of the Landmarks Preservation Commission shall be appointed for a three-year term and may serve no more than two consecutive terms.
All citizens interested in pursuing an appointment to LPC must complete the appropriate application for service and submit the same to the Town Clerk’s Office by Friday, November 1, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The appointments to LPC will be on the agenda for consideration and potential action at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
