Potential Traffic Impacts, Town Updates, and Reminders: September 4, 2026
Town Hall Offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day: Monday, September 7, 2026. No construction or lawn maintenance work is permitted. Please see the previously issued news release for Labor Day closures for additional details.
Potential Traffic Impacts:
Scheduled work for multiple Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects, Town-wide undergrounding, and watermain work, including milling and paving, may affect your travel route. Please follow the posted signs and directions, proceed carefully, and allow for extra time in the affected areas. Access to homes will always be maintained. Night Work: September 8-11, 2026 (7:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.)
Fire Hydrant and Water Valve Maintenance: The West Palm Beach Public Utilities Department continues to conduct fire hydrant and water valve maintenance through October 21 to ensure safe, efficient water system operation and support high-quality drinking water. Some customers may experience temporary sediment or discoloration, which can be cleared by running cold water for 1-2 minutes. Questions can be directed to 561-822-2210.
Town’s Website: Even the Town’s website was under construction this summer. On August 28, 2026, the initial redesign was launched. Please see the initial changes. Improvement work will continue without interruption to service and access.
