Town Council Invites Applications for Planning & Zoning Commission Appointments
The Town of Palm Beach is seeking applicants for the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Town Council and makes recommendations on matters related to municipal planning, zoning, and development. In carrying out its responsibilities, the Commission follows the concepts and provisions of the Town's Comprehensive Plan and has the powers and duties prescribed by Ordinance.
The Planning and Zoning Commission provides valuable community insight that helps guide thoughtful planning and development and preserve the quality of life enjoyed by Palm Beach residents. The Town Council is seeking engaged residents with a genuine interest in municipal planning and development who are committed to supporting the Town's tradition of excellence.
All members of the Planning and Zoning Commission must be registered voters in the Town of Palm Beach. Members serve three-year terms and may be eligible for reappointment. The Town Council may appoint up to three alternate members to the Commission. Alternate members serve when called upon by the Chair in the absence of a regular member.
All residents interested in pursuing an appointment must complete the appropriate application for service and submit it to the Town Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026. The appointments will be on the agenda for consideration and possible appointment at the Town Council meeting on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
