Potential Traffic Impacts: 

Scheduled work for multiple Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects and Town-wide undergrounding work, including milling and paving, may affect your travel route. Please follow the posted signs and directions, proceed carefully, and allow for extra time in the affected areas. Access to homes will always be maintained. Traffic personnel and flaggers will assist motorists to ensure safety.  

Saturday, July 25: Sanitary sewer force main performance maintenance along South Ocean Boulevard from the 2100 block to the 200 block (Royal Palm Way) will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. and end by 3:00 p.m.  Each location will take approximately one hour to complete, and traffic will be guided by flagging personnel while South Ocean Boulevard is reduced to one lane.   
Monday, July 27: 

• 262 Sunset Avenue: Single-lane closures will occur as needed while directional boring is performed to install a gas service line. 
• 589 North County Road: A northbound lane shift will be in place to accommodate a crane operating within the right-of-way for the replacement of a palm tree.

July 27- July 31:

• Milling and Paving: 100 and 200 Blocks of Barton Ave, the rear alley of Clarke and Barton Ave, and Flagler Drive will be impacted for Milling and Paving. 

• Cocoanut Row Watermain: Watermain installation will require the southbound lane between Royal Poinciana Way and Pendleton Lane to be closed. It is recommended to use South County Rd. 

• Sewer TV and Cleaning: The TV and Cleaning crew set up between sewer manholes from Debra Lane South to El Pueblo.
• North County Road between Wells and Miraflores: 
  - Northbound and southbound traffic on North County Road is detoured via Crescent Drive at Wells. 
  - Local traffic may access North County Road at El Mirasol and Canterbury Lane. 
  - The southbound lane will be closed from Miraflores Dr. to north of Kawama Ln. Traffic will be detoured via Tangier Ave, N. Lake Way, and Kawama Ln. 

• July 27 – mid-August: The 100 block of Seaview Avenue will be closed for road construction and allow local traffic only. 

• Watermain and Undergrounding Impacts: week of July 27
  -  Cocoanut Row between Poinciana Way and Pendleton will require a southbound lane closure.
  -  Concrete restoration at 417 Peruvian Avenue will temporarily block several parking spaces.  
  -  South County Road between Pendleton and Pinewalk will require a lane closure. 
  -  Via Bethesda and South County Road will also require lane closures. 
  -  Cocoanut Row from Seabreeze Avenue to Pendleton Avenue will involve a lane closure. 
  -  Bradley Place / North Lake Way between Atlantic Avenue and Sanford Avenue will require closure of the moving lane. 
  -  North County Road between Atlantic Avenue and Sunrise Avenue will require a lane closure. 
  -  Root Trail between North County Road and North Ocean Boulevard will result in road closure. 
  -  Sunset Avenue (between Bradley Place and North County Road) will require lane closures. Local traffic only.  

• FDOT project SR A1A/South County Road Midtown Paving: Nightly paving operations are expected to begin on S.R. A1A/South County Road. County Road, from just south of Golfview Road/Hammon Avenue to S.R. 704/Royal Palm Way, 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., Sunday nights through Friday mornings in July. Please note that nightly lane closures and access to parking spaces will be required at various times to complete operations. • August 7, 9:00 pm-5:00 am: The westbound lanes of Royal Palm Way will be closed on the night of August 7, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, to perform work on behalf of FDOT. The work will include removing pavers that obstruct the drainage system and inspecting all manholes within the affected area. The Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan outlines the lane closure and detour routes.
