Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11, is a federal holiday honoring all who have served in the United States Armed Forces. The day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, both living and deceased, during times of war or peace. The Town has two memorial walls to honor residents who served in foreign wars and fallen heroes, located on the north end of Memorial Park.  Administrative offices, including Town Hall, will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.   

Neither construction work nor landscaping will be allowed.   

Town recreation facilities will be open, and the public beaches will have lifeguards on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  

• Schedule  a tee time 

• Reserve a tennis court at Seaview or Phipps Ocean Park  

• Reserve the Mandel Recreation Field House 

Service Collections:  

• Residential Garbage: Service as usual. 

• Commercial Garbage: 5 Day Service - Service as usual. 

• Commercial Recycling: Service as usual. 

• Yard Trash Collection: Service as usual. 

Parking  

• Parking rules remain unchanged for the holiday.
