Potential Traffic Impacts for the Week of September 15 -19, 2025
The Town of Palm Beach advises residents and motorists of potential traffic impacts during scheduled work from September 15 to 19, 2025. Access to residents’ homes will always be maintained throughout the week. Please follow signage and directions, proceed cautiously, and allow extra travel time in the below-mentioned areas. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Florida Department of Transportation Project Updates
Palm Beach County Transportation Master Plan
The Countywide Transportation Master Plan (CTMP) will create a plan that brings together different cities and areas in the county to work on a shared vision for transportation. The goal is to build a safe and connected system that helps people get where they need to go using different types of transportation. For more information on the project, please visit PBCmoves.com.

Monday, September 15 through Friday, September 19:
- Milling and resurfacing work will take place on Woodbridge Road.
- 400 blocks of Australian Avenue and Chilean Avenue will undergo concrete restoration work.
- 200 and 400 Blocks of Seaview Avenue will undergo concrete restoration work.
- Cocoanut Row from Seaview Avenue to Brazilian Avenue will undergo concrete restoration work.
- The drainage improvement project along North County Road continues to affect traffic in the area. The road remains fully closed between Kawama Lane and Miraflores Road, with detours in place along those streets.

Florida Department of Transportation Project Updates
- SR A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from SR 802/Lake Avenue to Ibis Way
- Single-lane traffic on SR A1A is expected weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Work is anticipated in the southbound lane of SR A1A/South Ocean Boulevard between Ibis Way and south of Lake Avenue for work on the west side pedestrian pathway through Fall 2025. A temporary pedestrian detour route will be utilized as needed.
- Single-lane traffic on Lake Avenue, just west of the SR A1A intersection, may be closed as needed, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- SR A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from Emerald Beach Way to SR 704/Royal Palm Way
- Single-lane traffic on SR A1A is expected on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Paving operations can be expected on SR A1A/South Ocean Boulevard from just north of the SR 80/Southern Boulevard traffic circle (by Mar-a-Lago) to SR A1A/South County Road (just north of Clarendon Avenue), weekdays through September 2025.
- Paving operations can be expected on SR A1A/South County Road from South Ocean Boulevard (just north of Clarendon Avenue) to north of Hammon Avenue/Golfview Road, weekdays through September 2025.
- Northbound SR A1A/South County Rd. (South Ocean Boulevard south of Banyan Road) will be closed around the clock through September 2025 for sidewalk work.
- No left turns from northbound South Ocean Boulevard onto SR A1A/South County Road
- Southbound lane and all side streets remain open, and flagging may be used.
- SR A1A/South County Road northbound lane closure (South Ocean Boulevard to Banyan Road)
- The northbound lane and sidewalk from just north of Clarendon Avenue to just south of Banyan Road may be closed around-the-clock through September 2025 for sidewalk replacements and construction work.
- Motorists traveling northbound on South Ocean Boulevard will not be permitted to turn left/westbound onto SR A1A/South County Road during this time.
- The southbound lane of South County Road and all side streets will remain open, and local traffic will be permitted to move eastbound and westbound on Via Vizcaya, Via Del Mar, and Via La Selva.
