Quaker Road remains closed to through traffic between Hunts Place and Marcout Drive. Con Edison has completed the replacement of downed utility poles and power lines, and crews will remain on site to continue cleanup operations.

Altice is currently on site this morning to reinstall their wires. Once their work is completed, Verizon will proceed with restoring their lines.

This work is expected to continue throughout most of the day and into the night. Motorists are advised to avoid this area whenever possible.
