Attleboro Fireworks - THANK YOU!
The City of Attleboro and the Attleboro Independence Day Committee extend sincere thanks to all who supported participated and attended the recent Independence Day Celebration and fireworks event at Hayward Field.
We are deeply grateful to our public safety teams—the Attleboro Police and Fire Departments and all on-site city staff members —whose professionalism, swift coordination, and dedication ensured the safety of all attendees throughout the event, including the unforeseen storm delay. We also want to thank the many volunteers who helped us make the evening a success.
Planning events of this size, particularly those which involve pyrotechnics, requires many hours of organizing, fundraising, and consulting with public safety professionals to ensure the safety of event guests, protect property, and to mitigate other event related issues. Although there was a slight delay due to unforeseen heavy rain and dangerous lightening in the area, the fireworks display was a resounding success! Many, many thanks to the many folks and families who stuck around during the weather delay, and much appreciation for everyone’s patience and cooperation throughout.
To our event sponsors we owe a HUGE THANK YOU! Without their generous support, this celebration simply would not have been possible. The contributions of our local businesses, residents, and other organizations brought our community together for a memorable night of pride, unity, and joy.
Looking ahead, please know that the Attleboro Independence Day Committee is already hard at work planning for next year’s celebration—marking the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence.
Stay tuned for fundraising efforts and event updates as we prepare for what will be a historic celebration in Attleboro and beyond!
