Waterville, ME - Property Revaluation



Hello, Waterville residents! Starting January 2, 2025, the City of Waterville will begin a statistical revaluation of all properties. This process helps ensure property values are fair, accurate, and reflect current market trends. Don’t worry—there won’t be any physical inspections for most properties, as the revaluation relies on existing data and recent market analysis.
 
By late June 2025, you’ll receive a notice if your property value changes, along with information on how to review or appeal if needed. Keep in mind, this is a revenue-neutral process—it doesn’t raise more taxes but redistributes the tax base fairly.
